A bit about us
OrbitProtect was established in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2005 to provide specialised insurance cover for inbound international visitors.
In 2022, our New Zealand business became part of the nib Group – a trusted international health insurer that provides health insurance to over 1.9 million Australian and New Zealand residents.
Our products are purpose built to meet visa insurance requirements with some visas requiring mandatory cover, while others such as Guardians of International Students and Accredited Employer Work Visa holders have optional insurance, giving you the flexibility to choose the cover that suits your needs.
Our purpose is simple, whether our members are visiting, studying or working in New Zealand, we want to ensure that they feel supported and cared for while far away from home.
