Treatment pre-approval

If you require pre-approval for a medical procedure or surgery, in most situations we will assess your request within 5 to 10 working days, from the time we have all the information from you. To obtain pre-approval for surgery, you will need to provide us with the following:

• your medical notes
• a referral letter from the specialist
• the estimated cost of surgery
• the date scheduled for your surgery
