How long are you covered for?
Cancellation and loss of deposit cover starts from the day you pay your premium and we send your certificate of insurance.
All other benefits start from when you commence your journey to New Zealand. Generally, your cover will end either on your policy end date or when you leave New Zealand (whichever occurs first). Please see your Policy Document for more details.

International Student policyholders can pay with our OrbitPay Card at authorised medical centres and pharmacies instead of paying yourself then claiming a refund from us.

These listed Medical Providers around New Zealand accept our OrbitPay card as payment for medical consultations or prescriptions. If you are unable to get an appointment with an approved Medical Provider, you can go to any medical clinic or GP and then claim back your payment through our online Make a Claim page.
